Larry Venezia, D.V.M., assumed ownership of Hyannis Animal Clinic in 1977 from William Jones D.V.M., who founded the clinic in 1968. After five years as the clinic’s sole practitioner, Dr. Venezia was joined by Marianne McFarland, D.V.M., and Hyannis Animal Clinic became Hyannis Animal Hospital, Inc., a full-service veterinary practice. The hospital outgrew its space by 1995 and moved from its Hyannis location to a new, expanded, state-of-the-art facility in West Yarmouth. Four doctors now offer compassionate, high quality, cutting-edge veterinary medicine and surgery, supported by a full complement of up-to-date, sophisticated medical equipment and technology, and an experienced staff.

Larry Venezia, D.V.M. earned a B.S., Magna Cum Laude, from Kansas State University in 1972, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University in 1976. Dr. Venezia practices general veterinary medicine and surgery with a special interest in ultrasonography, endoscopy, and orthopedic surgery. He lives in Yarmouthport with his wife Nancy. They have two dogs, a cocker spaniel named Joe and a tan lab named Willow.  They also have a cat, Woody.
