Surgical Services: Our
state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a
wide variety of surgical procedures including most orthopedic
procedures and soft tissue surgeries. The four
veterinarians on our staff have a compiled eighty-five years
of professional experience and are qualified to perform virtually
all routine and emergency procedures. For those rare
procedures that are not offered, we can direct you to the best
available resource.
Anesthesia: We use the safest
available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety,
especially for our older or high risk patients. Using the most
modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during
all anesthetic procedures. We are very proud of our veterinary
technicians and assistant technicians and the quality of care they
provide to all of our patients.
Ultrasound Services: Our on-site,
advanced option, ultra sound machine operated by trained
veterinarians, allows us to provide convenient, timely and
reasonably priced echocardiograms and abdominal ultrasonography for
our patients. This gives us an important edge in diagnosing and
treating many diseases or conditions that are
sometimes elusive without this important imaging
device.
Laboratory: Our in-house
laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology,
serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We are able
to prepare and read many cytology specimens in-house and
provide a timely treatment plan. Commercial veterinary
laboratories are used for specialized diagnostics and
consultations.
Behavioral Counseling: We can
provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as
excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house
soiling and aggression. We will also try to direct you to
information and counseling sources available if we are unable to
answer specific questions or solve more complicated behavioral
issues.
