Marianne
McFarland, D.V.M., received her B.S. from Boston College in 1976
and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell
University in 1981. A life-long summer resident of Cape Cod, Dr.
McFarland made a permanent move from Boston in 1982 to become an
associate and later a partner at Hyannis Animal Hospital, where she
concentrates on general veterinary medicine, surgery, and
preventive care. Now a confirmed Cape Codder, she and her family
share their home with four vivacious canines, Tillie, Tuff, Taz,
and Snoop Dogg. |
A native of Cape Cod, Paul McCartin, D.V.M.
received his B.S. from the University of Vermont in 1988 and his
veterinary degree from Tufts University in 1992. After five
years as a teacher and practitioner of internal medicine at VCA
South Shore in Weymouth, he returned to Cape Cod with his wife and
children to practice general veterinary medicine and surgery at
Hyannis Animal Hospital. In 2002 he joined Dr. Venezia and Dr.
McFarland as a partner in the practice. His special interests are
diagnostic cytology, ultrasound, oncology and soft tissue and
orthopedic surgery. He enjoys spending free time with his
family, their cat and two dogs. |

Danielle Smith, D.V.M., earned a B.S. from the University
of Vermont in 1999 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree
from Purdue University in 2003. Raised in central
Massachusetts, Dr. Smith moved to Cape Cod in June of 2003 to join
Hyannis Animal Hospital as an associate in general veterinary
medicine and surgery, with a special interest in
ultrasonography. Her personal interests include horseback
riding, skiing, and running, as well as relaxing with friends,
family, and her two dogs Matti and Guiness. All of the veterinarians at Hyannis Animal
Hospital, Inc., are active members of the American Veterinary
Medical Association and keep current with advances in general and
specialized veterinary medicine, diagnostic and surgical
procedures, and medical technology through participation at annual
and bi-annual professional conferences and ongoing professional
education programs. |
