Office Manager:

Helen
Helen grew up on Cape Cod and brought to Hyannis Animal Hospital 9 years of previous experience in veterinary reception work. She started in 1994 and became office manager in 2000. She enjoys knitting,cooking, and outside activities with her four grown children and their spouses and her grandchildren (6 to date). She shares her home with 2 dogs and 3 cats.

Technicians:

Arlene
Arlene joined Hyannis Animal Hospital in 1995. She has been a veterinary technician for more than 30 years. Originally from Dorchester she moved to Cape Cod in 1982. Arlene enjoys the many clients she interacts with and her co-workers.

Carly
Carly was born and raised on beautiful Cape Cod. She has been working with animals for 6 years. Carly joined Hyannis Animal Hospital in February of '10 as an assistant and has worked her way to becoming a technician. Carly’s interests outside of work include being outside, yard sailing and photography. She currently has the honor of living with the coolest pug in the world Lainey AKA Brain and her lovely cat Corrina

Christine

Dan
Dan grew up on Cape Cod and attended D-Y schools. He started at Hyannis Animal Hospital in 2002 as a kennel attendant and soon after started working on the front desk, he has now advanced to technician. He shares his home with 1 dog, 2 cats, a lizard, and fish.

Erica
Erica is a native Cape Codder and graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1999 with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science. After spending one year in Florida working at an equine clinic she started at Hyannis Animal Hospital in 2001 as a technician. She enjoys spending time with her husband, their new baby boy and their three dogs Poe, Raven and Tek.

Heidi

Lisa
Lisa has been in the veterinary field for 22 years, she joined Hyannis Animal Hospital this year. She graduated from Mount Ida College in 1985 with an associates degree in animal science. She has 3 cats, (Simon,Ivy & Iris) and 1 dog named Sophie whom she adores. Her hobbies are talking on the phone, spending money and walking with her dog.

MC (Mary Clare)
M.C. graduated from Penn State in 1993, and took her first job in a veterinary clinic in Chicago shortly thereafter. She moved to the Cape in 1995 and in 2000 passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam and became a certified technician. M.C. and her husband Ron share their lives happily with their four exquisite and brilliant mastiffs; their Schnauzertastic miniature schnauzer, and five feline treasures who live solely indoors and who are Superior to Dogs in every way ( just ask the dogs).

Sarah
Sarah Finlayson has been a technician for 10 years and expresses "I still love the work everyday. It is my personal feeling that every patient should be cared for as if they were my own." She is married and has an awesome 10 year old daughter. She also has several dogs; Pokey a labx, Angel a whippet/dachshund, Marcel a shih tzu, and my daughter has a chihuahua named Mojo and a cat named Harry Potter.

Sue
Sue graduated from Barnstable High School in Hyannis and from Sterling College in Vermont. She started with Hyannis Animal Hospital in 1985. She enjoys motorcycling in the good weather and shares her home with her cats Skitter and Will.

Reception:

Sue
Susan is a true Cape Codder and previously worked in banking. She started at Hyannis Animal Hospital in 2007 and realized a life-long dream of working in the animal field. She lives in Yarmouth and shares her home with her cat, Dusty.

Sara
Sara has been with Hyannis Animal Hospital since August of 2007---she had previously worked with us and had taken a break for a couple of years. She has a very bubbly personality and brings a smile to all. She shares her home with 1 dog and 2 cats.

Carol
Carol started at Hyannis Animal Hospital in 2000, she enjoys the animals and working with her fellow receptionists. Carol has been a life long resident of Cape Cod and resides in Centerville with her son Matt.

Boarding / Kennel

Originally from NJ, I moved to Massachusetts in 1997, then to Cape Cod 4 years ago to be with my fiancÈ, Tony. I have 2 adult children. I'm currently studying for my associate's degree for the veterinary technician. I'm a member of AALAS. My hobbies are volleyball, flea markets, writing poetry, and doing research.

Grooming:

Beth
I have been grooming for 15 years and have long been a member of the New England Pet Grooming Professionals. I have taken their motto to heart: "Good health and beauty through kindness and skill". I enjoy grooming all breeds (and mixes!) of dogs and making each look his or her very best, but I do have a special love of scissoring poodles and bichons.

Don
Don Dutton Moved to the Cape in 2001 from Tucson AZ where he was a Pet Groomer for 20 years, Don is very active in community theater and serves as President of the Woods Hole Theater Company, Don has 2 pugs a Standard Poodle and a Schnauzer
