Dr. Larry Venezia

Dr. Venezia is a 1976 Graduate of Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. After 37 years of practice his focus is still on improving his veterinary skills at every opportunity. Dr. Venezia is PennHip certified, He has a special interest in canine breeding and reproduction. Professional goals include keeping up to date on anything that allows him to improve patient care. His interests include preserving the bond between dedicated dog and cat owners and their pets, wildlife preservation, sailing and local sports. Dr. Venezia lives in Yarmouthport with his wife Nancy, his dogs Sanders, Cam, and his cat Winky.


Dr. Marianne McFarland

Marianne McFarland, DVM received her B.S. degree from Boston College in 1976 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University in 1981. A life-long summer resident of Cape Cod, Dr. McFarland made a permanent move from Boston in 1982 to become an associate and later a partner at Hyannis Animal Hospital, where she concentrates on general veterinary medicine, surgery and preventative care. Now a confirmed Cape Codder she sharing her home with two lively canines Taz and Georgia.


Dr. Paul McCartin

Dr. Paul McCartin grew up on Cape Cod and graduated from Barnstable High School in 1982. He graduated with a degree in Biology from the University of Vermont in 1986, and with a veterinary degree from Tufts University in 1992. After completing an internship, he was a senior medicine clinician and taught interns at VCA South Shore, a referral and specialty clinic in Weymouth, MA. In 1997 he moved back to Cape Cod to practice at Hyannis Animal Hospital. Dr. McCartin’s special interests include ultrasound, oncology, and orthopedic surgery. In his spare time Dr. McCartin enjoys spending time with his family and fishing, coaching soccer and baseball, and playing the guitar(poorly).


Dr. Danielle Smith

Dr. Smith joined Hyannis Animal Hospital in 2003. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont 1999, and Purdue University Veterinary School in 2003. Her special interests include Internal Medicine, advanced ultrasound and oncology. Outside the hospital she enjoys Yoga, skiing and her dogs Buoy and Matti.


Dr. Kevin Smith

Dr. Smith joined the HAH team in 2006. His education includes a BS from the University of Vermont in 1998, and a 2002 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Smith spent 2 years in Vermont in a small animal practice, 2 years at Roberts Animal Hospital (Hanover, MA) as an emergency veterinarian prior to moving to Cape Cod. His main focus is surgery, including orthopedics, surgical oncology, emergency and reconstructive surgery. He enjoys skiing and scuba diving in his time out of the office.


Dr. Amanda Corbisiero

Dr. Amanda Corbisiero joined the Hyannis Animal Hospital family in 2010. Originally from the Adirondacks of New York State, Dr. Amanda realized her love for animals at a young age. She began her career in high school working at her local veterinary hospital. She then went on to receive her Bachelors in Animal Science from Cornell University in 2004 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from University of Illinois in 2009. During her time at Hyannis Animal Hospital, Dr. Amanda has found a passion for dermatology and internal medicine. Dr. Amanda’s paramount concern is the health of her patients and the satisfaction of their owners. When Dr. Amanda is not at HAH she enjoys spending time with her husband, children and furbabies.


Dr. Jennie Scudder

Dr. Jennie Scudder grew up in Barnstable. She received her B.S from the University of Vermont in 2005, her M.S in 2009 and her DVM from Western University of Health Sciences in 2013.

Dr. Scudder enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, with a special interest in seizure management and ultrasound. However, her relationships with her patients and clients, and developing personalized care plans are the most gratifying. Outside the hospital she enjoys spending time with her husband, their son and their menagerie of pets.


Dr. Brianna Carey

Dr. Carey joined Hyannis Animal Hospital in 2015. She received her BS in Animal Science from the University of Rhode Island and her DVM from Tufts University. She has special interests in internal medicine and cardiology. In her free time, Dr Carey enjoys horseback riding, hiking, exploring the Cape, and live music.


Dr. Ashley Stancil

Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Ashley Stancil earned her Bachelors of Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Masters of Science in Entomology at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Dr. Stancil continued at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Upon completion Dr. Stancil did a small animal internship at Cape Cod Referral and Emergency Center. Dr. Stancil stayed on at C.A.R.E. as an emergency doctor, then spent 7 years in general practice on the lower cape before joining our team at Hyannis Animal Hospital in Sept 2015.


Dr. Jesse Lane

Dr. Jesse Lane joined Hyannis Animal Hospital in 2017. She grew up in Norwood, Massachusetts and spent her childhood coming down the Cape where her mother grew up. She received her Bachelors in Biology from Connecticut College and spent several years working at local animal shelters before attending veterinary school at Tufts University. Dr. Lane loves developing long term relationships with her patients and clients and has special interests in behavior, internal medicine, and pain management. When she is not at HAH, she enjoys spending time with her husband, loud Beagle, and four lovable cats.


Dr. Savannah Lloyd-Seaboyer

Dr. Savannah Lloyd-Seaboyer received her B.S. degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Afterwards, Dr. Lloyd-Seaboyer completed a rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital, a large referral hospital in Weymouth. Although always having been a resident of the south shore in Massachusetts, she can picture herself being a cape codder. She is excited to be joining the HAH family. Her interests include ultrasound, dentistry, and preventative care. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, kayaking, and relaxing with her husband and two dogs, Milo and Dory.
